The Lawn Society - 'Home of the Great British Lawn'

There is a lot of Chafer Beetle Larvae activity in and around the sandy soils of Surrey currently. The problem with The Chafer Beetle is that they can live in the soil for up to three years and control products do not kill the eggs. Do not under estimate the power of the little jaws of the Larvae. They can literally strip a lawn of vegetation and their activity must not go unchecked. See the Technical Leaflet on the subject and if you need more answers on your particular problem, start the discussion thread and see if other members share your problem or views on the subject.
